Make a Difference at Your Chapter: Chapter Allocation Fund
Chapter Allocation Funds (CAFs) are chapter-specific, non-interest-earning fund managed by the SAE Foundation that provides educational grants to a house corporation to support the chapter house. Allowable spend is based on the independently calculated percentage of the educational space in the house, as reviewed and approved by the SAE Foundation.
Examples of how CAFs can be used:
- To purchase, build, renovate, or maintain the educational percentage of the chapter house
- To pay for the calculated percentage of a chapter's gas, electric bills, or property taxes
- To pay for the entirety of a chapter's internet bill or library renovation
